QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Primary job role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our product development team. The ideal candidate should have experience in software testing, test automation, documentation, and quality processes, and should be eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute to building high-quality products.

This position is direct hire, no third parties please.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Perform performance and load testing to ensure application scalability and reliability.
• Conduct security testing and identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Create and maintain QA documentation, test reports, SOPs, and release validation documents.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Experience in performance testing and analysis.
• Understanding of application security testing concepts and common web vulnerabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interest in documentation, process improvement, and quality standards.

Not required, but a strong plus

• Experience testing applications built with React.js and Python backends.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar.
• Understanding of security testing tools, Burp Suite and OWASP etc.
